Why animals are smarter than people

I was thinking today about how hot I have been lately. No I am not talking in vanity terms here. I mean I am roasting because I am about ready to have a baby (I am 36 weeks now... Wahoo). I decided that most animals are smarter than humans because they have their babies in the spring. None of this roasting to death in the summer for them. Maybe next time I will have to tell Aaron that human mating season is July though September and any other time is off limits. Yes, animals are definitely smarter.
